How ZILBRYSQ works

Targeted treatment for gMG, right in your hands

ZILBRYSQ targets a key cause of gMG symptoms

gMG symptoms are caused by your immune system's response to harmful antibodies

In gMG, harmful antibodies bind to receptors at the neuromuscular junction, activating part of your immune system called "complement."

Activated complement proteins, including C5, work together to attack your muscle cells. The resulting damage interrupts signals between nerves and muscles, causing the weakness you may experience.

ZILBRYSQ blocks C5, a specific complement protein involved in muscle cell damage

This muscle cell damage can interrupt the signals between nerves and muscles, which is a known cause of gMG symptoms.

By reducing the cause of the muscle cell damage, ZILBRYSQ can help improve those signals between nerves and muscles.*

*The exact mechanism by which ZILBRYSQ works in gMG is unknown.
